Paradisus Playa del Carmen was previously known as Hotel Paradisus Playa del Carmen La Esmeralda.

Location

This hotel is situated in a stunning little bay within walking distance of beaches, 5 minutes on foot from the town centre of Playa del Carmen and from Playa Esmeralda beach, and a 15-minute walk from Playa del Carmen beach. It lies near an extraordinary variety of attractions such as Playa del Carmen’s 5th Avenue (about 1.5 km), Akumal (about 3.5 km), Xcaret (roughly 6 km), and Xel-Ha. It is also very close to famous Mayan archaeological sites such as Tulum (some 70 km), Chichen Itza and Coba. It lies approximately 45 minutes’ drive from Cancún International Airport.

Facilities

Guests have a choice of 248 junior suites and 144 suites located in a 4-storey main building and 4 auxiliary buildings. The reception desk is open round the clock. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon, massage treatments, anti-ageing treatments and a solarium. Subject to charge: hydrotherapy treatments. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club and a dance club.

Meals

Dining facilities include a café and a bar. Great food and friendly service await guests in 12 air-conditioned restaurants. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. All-inclusive can be booked. A delicious breakfast gives guests plenty of energy for the day. At lunch and dinner, guests serve themselves at the generous buffet.
